Rooted in Rural Heritage. Launching the Next Generation Forward.

Empowering youth ages 10–24 in the ERTH Corridor to lead, grow, and thrive in their own community.

Rural Launch Foundation & Juku (RLFJ) is a nonprofit serving youth in Lake County, California. Through our Built Different curriculum, hands-on mentorship, and community-rooted programs, we equip young people with the skills, identity, and vision to build futures right here at home.

Our Programs

Built Different

A 5-module identity-first curriculum designed to help young people discover who they are, build confidence, and develop the leadership skills to thrive in their community.

The Castle Framework

A life-skills program built around the metaphor of designing and building your own castle. Young people explore identity, character, boundaries, leadership, and community through the rooms of their castle — discovering that they are both the Architect and the Master Builder of their own future.

Groundbreakers → Ambassadors → Vanguards

Our three-tier youth progression pathway. Young people move from community builders to civic ambassadors to next-generation leaders — earning recognition and responsibility at every stage.
